Australian Wine Archives (AWA) was established in 1998 to provide wines and wine services with a difference to the Australian restaurant industry.
AWA has provided Australian restaurants with a large range of:
- premium boutique wines,
- current vintage wines,
- back vintage wines; and
- museum wines, from Australia and around the world.
All our wines were purchased ‘at source’ – either from the original vineyard or wholesaler, and commercially cellared since purchased.
Rather than just the ‘Super Premiums’ – Grange, Hill of Grace, Mount Mary, etc, we hold good quality, well cellared and affordable, known brands.
These include Bowen Estate, Hillstowe, Tatachilla, Elderton, Leconfield, Hardys, Fox Creek, Mildara, d’Arenberg, Bethany, Bannockburn, Wynns, Leo Buring and many more.
We also hold wines from small, boutique, and interesting vineyards such as Jeir Creek in Canberra, Miceli in the Mornington Peninsula, Oddfellows in Langhorne Creek, Brini in the McLaren Vale.
And for the Restaurant Industry, AWA can provide wine list development advice and ‘logistical sommelier’ services.
AWA is now in a position to provide wines previously only available to our restaurants, to you the true wine enthusiast.
